Dry beriberi – It is a condition in which adults feel uneasy and restless. A person's hand and legs get tingled and feel calloused. Muscles get weekend. It decreases appetite. A person feels extreme pain throughout the entire body in this condition.

Wet beriberi – In this condition adults might have edema in legs and stomach. Person's size of heart increases and faces respiratory problems. Adults' memory power decreases and affects the brain.
