The first satellite of India named Aryabhatta it was launched by India on 19 April 1975 from Kapustin Yar, a Russian rocket Kosmos-3M launch vehicle. It was built by ISRO ( Indian Space Research Organisation ). Aryabhatta name was of a astronomer and mathematician of india  after 5th century it was named by the same name. Between 1976 and 1997 satellite Aryabhatta  image appeared the back of 2 rupee (Indian Bank Note) and the between of 1 rupee.
